Explosion Proof Stainless 3-Way Ball Valves
About Explosion Proof Stainless 3-Way Ball Valves
A ball valve is one of the most common types of shutoff or isolation valves found in residential and commercial plumbing and industrial processes. They are operated by turning a sphere-shaped obstructer or "ball" 90 degrees (a quarter turn). This turns the flow of water or other liquids and gases on and off, allowing them to pass through one way and stopping it from flowing in another direction.
Often used in wash-down applications, these 3 way ball valves are built to stand up to harsh conditions with high temperature ratings and corrosion resistant materials. They feature a blowout-proof stem, reinforced PTFE seats and seals, a 316 SS body and valve seat, and a chrome-plated brass ball with a white polypropylene tether. These valves also come with an ISO 5211 direct mounting pad for easy automation and a drain port to prevent overflowing.
These explosion-proof electric actuated 3-way valves are available with two-position or modulating actuators, and can be mounted with a wide variety of control signal inputs. They offer visual and electrical valve position indication, manual override, and are available in a range of ANSI 150 and 300 class pressure/temperature ratings.
These 3 way ball valves are perfect for diverting flows in your system or as a simple on/off shut-off. They're easy to install with no need for soldering, crimping or glu e thanks to their push-to-connect, Tri-clamp design that snaps in place and is easily removed.
